Who We Are — The Heirs of a Promise
The World Islamic Heritage Waqf Foundation is not only a Waqf foundation — it is a covenant renewed, a journey revived, and a responsibility returned to its rightful heirs.
From the moment Allah placed Adam and Hawa (peace be upon them) on earth, humanity became travelers — not of land, but of meaning.
Their first voyage was not across oceans, but toward each other — toward repentance, reunion, and mercy — until they met on Mount Arafat, where forgiveness embraced them, and from where their descendants spread across continents.
Thus, travel became the first act of worship, the first path of rediscovery, the first pilgrimage of souls.
فإذا قضيت الصلاة فانتشروا في الأرض وابتغوا من فضل الله
“And when the prayer has ended, disperse through the land and seek from the bounty of Allah...” (Surah Al-Jumu‘ah 62:10)
For this reason, we do not see travel as movement — we see it as remembrance, responsibility, and return.

The Waqf Foundation was established to serve, preserve, revive, and reconnect the Ummah with her forgotten mirrors — her scholars, her cities, her discoveries, her legacy, her soul, and above all, her Divine identity.
The Waqf unites:
All under one sacred mission: To honor the Amanah entrusted to this Ummah, before we return to the One who entrusted it -

From Córdoba — the cradle of universal enlightenment — emerged the greatest traveler the world has ever known:
Sheikh Ibn Battūta (May Allah be pleased with him)
A son of Islamic Spain, molded by the golden legacy of Al-Andalus, he traveled more than 120,000 kilometers, reaching lands no traveler before him ever envisioned.
His journeys carried Islam :
Today: 85% of the world’s Muslim population lives in Asia Indonesia stands as the largest Muslim nation on Earth And the spark of this transformation began in Córdoba — the city of scholars, where faith, science, poetry, medicine, astronomy and spirituality walked hand in hand.
One soul. One journey. One legacy.
Proof that Allah writes the destiny of nations through a single sincere believer.
ومن أحياها فكأنما أحيا الناس جميعا
“ And whoever saves a life, it will be as if they saved all of humanity “ (Surah Al-Maai‘dah 05:32)

A world where Islamic Heritage is no longer seen as: Ancient ruins..Forgotten stones..Erased history
But as:
A living spiritual bloodstream
A Divine inheritance pulsing through generations
A compass guiding humanity to unity, dignity, balance, humility, and enlightenment
ولا تكونوا كالذين نسوا الله فأنساهم أنفسهم
“ Do not be like those who forgot Allah, so He made them forget themselves.” (Surah Al-Hashr 59:19)

By reviving heritage through knowledge, arts, travel, culture, storytelling, and awakening the youth to their sacred identity.
To REBUILD & RESTORE
Rebuilding what was erased, what neglect silenced, and what time covered with dust.
To BRIDGE & UNITE
Connecting hearts before countries — Nations before borders — Souls before labels — through heritage diplomacy, faith dialogue, and ethical civilizational cooperation.
All in service to Allah, and in favor of humanity, and the planet that carries us.
The Sacred Reminder — Said by the Masters
Imam Al-Shafi‘i (May Allah be pleased with him) :
“Travel, for in traveling there are five benefits: relief of heart, gaining of knowledge, noble manners, livelihood, and companionship of the righteous.”
Imam Al-Ghazali (May Allah be pleased with him) :
“He who has no share of spiritual transformation will find no benefit in physical travel.”
At our Foundation, the journey is not a product — it is a purification.

Before we were bodies, we were souls.
Before the earth, there was a Promise.
` And ˹remember˺ when your Lord brought forth from the loins of the children of Adam their descendants and had them testify regarding themselves. ˹Allah asked,˺ “Am I not your Lord?” They replied, “Yes, You are! We testify.” ˹He cautioned,˺ “Now you have no right to say on Judgment Day, ‘We were not aware of this. ` (Surah Al-A‘rāf 7:172)
This Waqf exists so that the Ummah does not forget:

“ Heritage is not a stone on a wall…It is the Soul of Faith carried through Time, Space into Eternity.”
Our Call To The Ummah
This mission is not ours — it is yours.
This legacy was not left for us — it was left for you.
We are only the bridge. You are the continuation.
Do not ask what this legacy can do for you — ask what you will do for this legacy.
The past calls.
The present waits.
The future watches.
Answer the call. Become a Guardian of the Journey.
